Lessons

Lessons are offered Monday through Saturday for students 6 years of age and older. A strong basics in Dressage is taught whether going on to jumping or continuing with dressage. Jumping lessons consist of gymnastics, to develop balance for the rider and rhythm for the horse, and then on to course work. We offer half hour and hour private lessons. Semi private lessons upon request.

All students beginner to advanced will start out with basics in Dressage. This will also help in jumping for horse and rider. Beginners will learn proper grooming and tacking, and start with lessons on a lunge line. As the students find their balance they will be able to hold the reins. They continue to develop their seat and work their way off of lunge line. Once the rider develops an independent seat, they will learn how to put a horse together, and not interfere with the horse's movement and balance.
